The school have loved including this new fitness option into their daily routine. With help from the lesson plans the equipment can be incorporated into PE lessons, along with recreational use at break times. Being located within the playground means the units can be supervised at all times by staff and arrangements of the units mean that children can socialise while exercising.

The playground has been completely transformed and brought back to life with the new bold and vibrant surfacing. Each colour defines a new play opportunity for the children and all the correct safety regulations are now in place for the surfacing under each unit. The wheelchair roundabout has now brought an element of inclusive play to site for all users to enjoy.

The new playground offers a wide of activities and fun themed play units. The boat is fantastic for little ones to explore and role play where as the Osmoz unit offers challenge and development for progression within the site. The ManDDAla roundabout and basket swing are also suitable for those less able. The new play area is a fantastic safe space for local residents to enjoy within their new community.

The new track has been a big hit with the children. The SUDS track means that no surface water builds up on so a mile can be run whatever the weather. The track allows several children to run side by side which makes the activity social and fun for all. The installation of a defined track means the activity is also fully inclusive for those less able and wheelchair users.

The children have really enjoyed the new sports facility. The MUGA offers children the chance to play basketball, football and netball, with cricket options on the panel on the outer wall along with target practice on the skills wall. The four mini goals also allow two games of five a side to be played next to each other within the court. A great installation with numerous possibilities for PE lessons and sports events at the school.

The new play options have been thoroughly enjoyed by local children. The basket swing and the ManDDAla roundabout both offer inclusive play, with the ManDDAla suitable for up to two wheelchair users. The site offers spinning, swinging and climbing which provides a good basis for physical play all in one space. The surfacing also protects the ground from wear during periods of heavy use.
