Nottingham City Council Queens Walk MUGA

The new MUGA has created a fantastic sports facility for all users to enjoy. With the addition of two multiactive panels the site is now suitable for football, basketball and cricket. The site was constructed with green steel and green acrylic coating to blend in with the park surroundings. The site has been well used by local teams and groups in the area and is a great new addition for the community.

Haydon Wick Parish Council – MUGA

The new MUGA offers the community the opportunity to play basketball, football and cricket within the court. The open goals and chicane entrance allows the court to be accessed by wheelchair users and those less able.

Lopham Village Hall and Playing Field Management Committee Playground

The new gym offers four units with 5 user stations to get a great cardiovascular workout, this is situated just outside the playground. The playground offers the classic units including a roundabout, slide and swings suitable for all age groups. The site has proved popular with the local residents and users of all ages and abilities can enjoy this recreational space within their local park.

Harehills Primary School Outdoor Gym Case Study

The new fitness space offers children a range of exercise options and a combination of multi users and single user units were installed. Bow top fencing and a gate allowed the gym to be secured from general play, keeping the area safe of supervised sessions. KS2/ KS3 Activity packs were also provided with PE curriculum based information to aid teaching sessions with pupils.

NHS East London Foundation Trust – Cedar House Bedford – Outdoor Gym

The site created has created a safe and secure location for patients to exercise outside. Exercise has been proven to increase endorphins which trigger a positive feeling in the body, which works well for the Cedar House. The site is well used and allows a combination of cardiovascular and strength based workouts.
