The Site:

An existing play area with one slide and some broken springers needed updating. Safety flooring was also needed to make the area safe for all users and protect users from unit fall heights. A site visit, risk assessment and health and safety report was conducted to provide the best solution to meet their needs.

The Brief:
The Client wanted a small play area to be updated with new surfacing and a play unit for age 2-8 year olds. The Ankor play unit provided the best solution, for users aged 2+, up to 8 users and compact in size. The unit contains three play units for different abilities, with a fantastic slide, jungle hut and climb wall.

The Challenges:
Working within a residential area meant the public would be around the site 24/7. Protective fencing was installed to allow the team to work safely in the designated area, this also helped limit access and protect the public while the works were completed.

This fantastic little play area in the heart of a residential area shows that play can be incorporated into the smallest of areas. The products provided are made of FCS-certified mandioquiera and cedar wood and of maintenance free polyethylene. All materials are of highest quality and longevity and require minimal maintenance in all kinds of weather.
