The Giant Chalkboard Station Play Panel brings a large scale chalkboard into the playground for group creative play. A wide chalkboard surface spans the full panel, supplied with three packs of chalk. Several children can draw side by side, turning the panel into a shared canvas rather than a single-user activity.
Key features of the Giant Chalkboard Station Play Panel
- Large scale chalkboard surface for group drawing
- Three packs of chalk included
- Encourages social, side by side creative play
- Durable two colour HDPE construction
Drawing on a shared surface gives children an open ended activity with no fixed outcome, so the panel stays fresh every time a group returns to it. Its scale means several children can create together rather than taking turns, building early collaboration and communication skills alongside creativity. Because the surface wipes clean in moments, the panel is ready for the next group almost immediately.
Schools and nurseries often make the Giant Chalkboard Station Play Panel a centrepiece of an activity trail, pairing it with smaller panels nearby for children to move between. The chalkboard surface needs only a routine wipe down as part of a standard inspection to stay ready for use. The panel also suits SEN settings well, where open ended drawing gives a group a calm, pressure free way to play together.
Built to last
Caloo builds the panel to the BS EN 1176 playground equipment standard, so schools and nurseries can specify it with confidence. Two colour HDPE resists weather, impact and fading, keeping the panel looking sharp through years of outdoor use.
Teachers often use the Giant Chalkboard Station Play Panel for outdoor art sessions that need space for a whole small group at once. Browse the full range of Caloo play panels to pair it with other creative or tactile activities on your site.
