Frequently asked questions
A compact bundle works in roughly 200 square metres. A mid-sized park sits around 400 to 600 square metres. You also need clear run-off around the features, so the usable area is always larger than the footprint of the equipment itself. If your site is tight, tell us the dimensions and we will say honestly whether it works.
Usually yes, mainly because of noise and the change of use rather than the structures themselves. Local authorities will typically want to see the layout, the distance to the nearest houses and often a noise assessment. We supply the drawings and specifications that applications ask for.
Smooth tarmac or concrete. It must be flat, sound and free of loose material, because riders feel every imperfection and a poor surface makes a good park unusable. If your existing area is not suitable we can lay the surface as part of the project, which is often the sensible route given the equipment is only as good as what it stands on.
Yes. Bundles are a starting point, not a fixed set. Features can be swapped within a bundle at quote stage, and individual items can be added to an existing park later as budget allows. Plenty of the sites we work with build in phases, which is often the only way to get a project through funding.
