Our Process

How We Bring Your Scheme to Life

From first conversation to long-term aftercare, our four-step process keeps your project simple, transparent and on programme.

STEP 1 OF 4

Free Site Consultation

Every project starts with a conversation. We work from your drawings, specifications or a site visit to understand the scope, budget, ground conditions and programme. Whether you are pricing a tender or developing a live scheme, we provide accurate costs, product recommendations and specification support so you can plan and price with confidence.

STEP 2 OF 4

Bespoke 3D Design

Our in-house designers produce detailed 3D visuals, scaled site plans and full specification documents that can go straight into your tender packs, planning applications or client presentations. We balance play value, safety zones, surfacing and budget, then refine the design with you and your client until it is exactly right.

Installation

STEP 3 OF 4

Expert Installation

Unlike many playground installation companies, we do not rely on subcontractors. Our directly employed, DBS-checked playground installers deliver every project to an agreed schedule, coordinating with your site team on access, deliveries and groundworks. Every installation is completed to BS EN 1176, with RAMS provided in advance and the site left clean, safe and ready for handover.

Aftercare
Expert Installation
STEP 4 OF 4

Aftercare & Maintenance

Once installed, we provide a post-installation inspection, certification and a full handover pack, followed by ongoing maintenance, servicing and annual RPII inspections where required. It protects your client's investment and gives you a clean, well-documented handover.

Playground Equipment and Surfacing for Construction Projects

Everything you need to deliver a complete play or fitness space, designed, supplied and installed in-house to the highest safety standards.

Timber swing set with basket swing, standard swings, and toddler seat in a grassy park.

Playground Equipment

Swings, slides, climbing frames, trim trails and imaginative play units, all manufactured to BS EN 1176. For contractors, that means specification-ready equipment that satisfies LAP, LEAP and NEAP planning requirements and stands up to heavy public use with minimal maintenance.

Multiplay Units

Steel, timber and robinia tower-and-deck systems that combine climbing, sliding and imaginative play in one compact footprint. They deliver maximum play value per square metre, making them ideal where site space is tight or where a scheme needs a striking centrepiece.

Outdoor Gym Equipment

As an established outdoor fitness equipment supplier, we provide individual gym units, calisthenics rigs and complete fitness zones. They help contractors meet briefs calling for all-ages provision and give parks and residential schemes lasting appeal beyond the play area itself.

MUGAs

Multi-use games areas with sports surfacing, rebound fencing, goal ends and optional floodlighting. MUGAs let you deliver formal sports provision within one enclosed, low-maintenance area, a common requirement on school, council and residential contracts.

Skate Park Equipment

Durable ramps, rails and complete skate park bundles for wheeled sports zones. Skate provision is one of the most requested facilities among older children and teenagers, helping architects design spaces that serve the age groups traditional play areas often miss.

Youth Shelter by skate park

Outdoor Shelters & Furniture

Shelters, seating, picnic benches, bins and cycle stands to complete the public realm around your play space. Specifying furniture alongside the equipment means one supplier, one delivery schedule and a consistent finish across the whole scheme.

Safety Surfacing

Wetpour, rubber mulch, rubber grass mats, artificial grass and resin bound gravel, installed by our own teams. Choosing the right playground surface material is critical for compliance, and all our playground safety surfacing is installed to BS EN 1177 with critical fall heights matched to the equipment above it.

Funding

Play areas within construction projects are often funded through routes many project teams overlook. Section 106 agreements and the Community Infrastructure Levy frequently ring-fence developer contributions for play and open space, while local authority capital budgets, parish council precepts and grant bodies such as the National Lottery Community Fund and landfill community funds can support public schemes. We help contractors and their clients identify the right funding streams and build costed proposals to support applications.

The Benefits of Playgrounds and Outdoor Gyms

Investing in play and outdoor fitness delivers lasting returns for the children, families and communities who use the space every day.

More Active Children

Well-designed play areas get children climbing, balancing, swinging and running every day. Regular active play builds strength, coordination and cardiovascular fitness at the age it matters most.

Improved Mental Wellbeing

Outdoor play and exercise reduce stress and support better mood, sleep and concentration. Green, active spaces give children and adults a healthy outlet close to home.

Stronger Communities

Playgrounds, outdoor gyms and MUGAs give neighbourhoods a natural meeting point. Shared spaces like these encourage social connection between families and residents of all ages.

Inclusive Spaces

Accessible playground design means wheelchair-accessible roundabouts, sensory panels and inclusive gym units that let children and adults of all abilities play and train side by side.

Long-Term Value for the Development

Quality play and fitness provision makes schools, parks and housing developments more attractive and more used. It adds lasting value to the scheme and reflects well on everyone who delivered it.

FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything contractors need to know about specifying, programming and installing playground and outdoor fitness equipment.

How do you work to fit our construction programme and timelines?+
We agree installation dates at order stage and build our schedule around your construction programme. If the programme moves, we stay in close contact with your site team and re-sequence our works to suit.
What documentation do you provide for site, health and safety compliance?+
We provide full RAMS, insurance certificates and DBS credentials for our installation teams before work begins. Compliance certification for BS EN 1176 equipment and BS EN 1177 surfacing is supplied alongside.
How do you handle site access, deliveries and groundworks coordination?+
We coordinate directly with your site manager to plan access routes, delivery slots and storage before our teams arrive. We can work alongside your groundworkers or complete all groundworks ourselves, whichever suits your programme.
Do you provide post-installation certification and handover documentation?+
Yes, every project is handed over with a post-installation inspection certificate, product warranties and operation and maintenance manuals. Independent RPII post-installation inspections can also be arranged on request.
What lead times should we plan for on equipment and surfacing?+
Most equipment is available within four to eight weeks of order, with surfacing programmed to follow immediately after installation. We confirm exact lead times at quotation stage so you can build them into your programme early.
What surfacing options work best for pathways, play and fitness zones?+
Wetpour and rubber mulch work best for play zones, resin bound gravel suits pathways, and artificial grass or rubber grass mats suit fitness areas. The best material for playground surface areas depends on fall heights, drainage and design intent, and we advise on each.
Do you offer bespoke or made-to-order playground equipment?+
Yes, we design and manufacture bespoke and made-to-order playground equipment for schemes that need something unique. Share your concept and we will develop it with you.
