The Hangout Youth Shelter (YS107) gives young people a modern, welcoming space to meet, relax and stay protected outdoors. Perforated steel side panels add durability and airflow, while clear Lexan panels give glass-like visibility with strong impact resistance. This youth shelter comes built from 89% recycled steel. It seats up to 9 users across schools, parks and community spaces.
About the Hangout Youth Shelter
A steel frame supports a pitched roof over a mix of perforated steel and clear Lexan side panels. The Lexan sections let light through for a glass-like look, while staying lightweight and highly impact resistant. Integrated bench seating runs along the inside, with perforated backrests that let rainwater drain away quickly after wet weather. Standing 2.5m tall, the shelter has a 4m by 2.5m footprint. This fits neatly into a park, school or community space.

Who is it for?
The Hangout Youth Shelter suits parks, schools and community spaces that want a bright, modern looking shelter. Because the Lexan panels let light through, the space feels open even with full weather protection. With seating for 9 people, it gives a group of friends or a school class somewhere to meet.
Easy to look after
Steel resists impact and vandalism, so the shelter keeps its shape under heavy daily use. The Lexan panels wipe clean and stay clear thanks to their UV stable coating. Galvanised fixings protect against rust, reducing the maintenance the shelter needs over time.
Built to last
89% recycled structural steel gives the Hangout Youth Shelter the strength and rigidity to handle demanding outdoor use. A high performance polyester powder coated finish protects the frame from the weather while keeping its appearance for years. Tough, impact resistant Lexan panels stand up to heavy public use and changing weather. Together, these materials make the shelter a long-lasting addition to any busy public space.
