The Rock Band Keyboard Play Panel lets children play eight keyboard notes and trigger extra sound effects on a freestanding musical station. Two aluminium posts support a bold keyboard unit finished in two colour HDPE, styled like a real electronic keyboard. Eight note keys sit alongside a bank of sound effect buttons, so children can play simple tunes or add percussion and effects. Because the keyboard responds instantly to touch, children quickly learn cause and effect through play. So they return again and again, composing their own rock band soundtrack. The unit runs on battery powered PlayTronic electronics and carries a three year guarantee, so schools and parks can install it with confidence.
Key features of the rock band keyboard play panel
Caloo builds the keyboard unit from tough two colour HDPE, mounted on extruded aluminium posts with a powder coat finish. As a result, the unit stays stable and looks sharp through years of outdoor use. The keyboard and posts arrive pre-assembled, so schools and parks can install it quickly. Children can be playing the same day. The battery powered electronics are covered by a three year guarantee. Because of this, buyers can specify the unit with confidence. The Rock Band Keyboard suits busy sites that want a standout musical centrepiece.
Caloo positions the keyboard at an easily accessible height. So children who use wheelchairs or find reaching difficult can play alongside their friends. The keys and buttons need only a light touch, not strength or fine grip. Because of this, the unit gives children of different abilities a genuinely shared activity. So the Rock Band Keyboard Play Panel suits SEN and inclusive playgrounds, where equipment needs to welcome every child without singling anyone out.
Built to last
Caloo designs every panel to the BS EN 1176 play safety standard, backed by guidance from RoSPA. As a result, schools and councils can specify it with confidence. The HDPE keyboard unit, aluminium posts and weatherproof electronics handle daily play in all weather. They resist fading and keep working through playground downpours and summer heat alike.
Pair the Rock Band Keyboard Play Panel with other panels from Caloo’s Play Panels range, such as the PlayTronic Piano or PlayTronic Lead Guitar. Together they build a themed music corner where children explore rhythm, melody and sound in one dedicated space.
