Springers, also known as spring rockers or spring riders, are seated play units mounted on a heavy duty steel spring that lets children bounce and rock in every direction. They come in themed designs, from a classic playground rocking horse to boats, diggers and unicorns.
Most single springers are designed for children from around two to eight years old, which makes them a staple of nursery, EYFS and infant play areas. Double seat and multi-user designs suit slightly older children playing together.
