The Sensory Play Panel packs a whole branch of activities into one bright, nature inspired design. Climbing bees, trailing leaves and flower shaped spinners decorate a tough, two colour HDPE panel. Together, they give children several different ways to touch, turn and explore in one spot.
Key features of the Sensory Play Panel
Children can slide counters along the branches and spin the flower bearing rotator. They can also roll the ball hidden inside the pod shaped plant on. They can flip the two colour rollers to build their own simple patterns. With this many activities built into a single panel, it naturally encourages social play. Children take turns and compare what they have discovered. This also builds fine motor skills through sliding, turning and flipping actions. Every activity sits at an accessible height, so children using wheelchairs or standing frames can join in alongside their friends. In addition, Caloo mounts the panel on durable posts for everyday outdoor use.
The Sensory Play Panel offers so many low pressure, self directed activities in one place. Because of this, it is a strong choice for SEN and inclusive playgrounds. It gives every child an activity that suits their own pace and interests.
Built to last
Caloo manufactures every play panel from durable, weather resistant HDPE. Each one is tested to the RoSPA backed BS EN 1176 playground safety standard. As a result, schools and councils can rely on it for years of outdoor use. The Sensory Play Panel is part of our wider Play Panels range. Every design in the range is built to the same high standard.
Pair the Sensory Play Panel with the Sensory Hexagons Play Panel or the Sensory Fidget Totem to build a rich, multi activity sensory trail. Together, they give children plenty of different textures, sounds and movements to discover.
