The Wobbly Mirror Play Panel gives children a playful, distorted reflection to explore. Its curved surface bends and stretches their image as they move, turning a simple look in the mirror into a fun sensory activity. Caloo moulds the panel from tough two colour HDPE for lasting outdoor use. In addition, Caloo mounts the panel between posts, so it works well as a standalone feature or alongside other sensory panels.
Key features of the Wobbly Mirror Play Panel
The shatterproof mirrored surface curves gently from top to bottom, so children see a different, wobbly version of themselves depending on where they stand. This simple visual effect encourages children to move, pull faces and experiment with their reflection. In addition, Caloo positions the mirror at an accessible height, so children using wheelchairs or standing frames can join in easily. Caloo also mounts the panel between sturdy posts for everyday outdoor use. As a result, the Wobbly Mirror Play Panel is a popular choice for busy, high traffic play areas.
Because it combines a bold visual effect with a single, easy to understand action, the Wobbly Mirror Play Panel is a gentle, inclusive activity. It suits SEN and mainstream playgrounds alike, giving children of different abilities a shared focal point to enjoy together.
Built to last
Caloo manufactures every play panel from durable, weather resistant HDPE. It also tests each one to the RoSPA backed BS EN 1176 playground safety standard. So schools and councils can rely on it for years of outdoor use. In addition, the Wobbly Mirror Play Panel is part of our wider Play Panels range, built to the same high standard across every design.
Pair the Wobbly Mirror Play Panel with the Make it Rain Play Panel or Sensory Turtle Play Panel to build a themed sensory trail. As a result, children get several different ways to explore movement, sound and reflection in one play area.
