No. A garden trampoline sunk into a hole will not perform or last, as domestic frames are not built to sit in the ground and lack the ventilation and drainage a pit installation needs. Our inground trampolines are purpose built commercial units with corrosion protected frames, vandal resistant bounce mats and engineered pit systems designed for permanent outdoor installation.
Yes. Because the bounce mat sits flush with the surrounding surface, there is no raised frame to fall from and no ladder or netting to fail. All our models are designed and tested to BS EN 1176 for unsupervised public use, with impact absorbing edging and the correct clearances installed around each unit.
Not when installed correctly. Every pit we install sits on a free draining base so rainwater passes through rather than pooling beneath the mat. The bounce mat itself is perforated, so surface water drains straight through instead of collecting on top.
Rainwater passes through the perforated bounce mat into the pit below, which is built with a drainage layer of compacted stone that lets water soak away naturally. On sites with heavy clay soil or a high water table, we can add a soakaway or connect the pit to existing site drainage as part of the installation.
