Why it matters
The Benefits of MUGAs
- Encourages Physical Activity – A MUGA play area gives children and adults a dedicated MUGA court to run, play sport and stay active outdoors, whatever the weather.
- Brings the Community Together – A shared MUGA playground encourages team sport, friendship and healthy competition for players of every age and ability.
- Built to Last – From MUGA flooring to fencing, every material is chosen for durability, so pitches withstand heavy use and the British weather for years.
- Extends Playing Time – Football floodlights and football pitch floodlights let clubs and schools keep pitches in use after dark, all year round.
- Flexible for Multiple Sports – A single MUGA pitch can be marked out for football, netball and basketball, whatever the MUGA size, maximising every inch of the site.
