Playground vehicles give young children a train, tractor, plane or lorry to bring to life through role play. Most are designed for ages 1 to 6, with seating, driving panels and play panels that suit nurseries, early years settings and parks. Choose single pieces such as the Blue Tractor, Jeep or Recycling Lorry, or a full play train with carriages.

Most of our vehicles are listed for ages 1 to 6, including the tractors, cars, Jeep and train bundles. The Plane suits ages 2 to 6, and the At The Airport Multiplay, with its aeroplane slide and tunnel, suits ages 1 to 8.
The Timber Express Train has four parts: an engine with a tunnel and play panels, a passenger carriage with timber seating, a first class carriage with a roof, and a tunnel carriage with crawl-through access. We also offer a free-standing Play Train and Small and Full Train Bundles.
Vehicles such as the Recycling Lorry and Tractor and Hay Cart give children insight into real-world roles, encouraging role play, conversation and teamwork. Add roleplay panels nearby, or pair the tractor with the Farm Playhouse from our playhouses range to extend the story.
It depends on the unit. For example, the Timber Express Train needs safety surfacing under the engine and tunnel sections. Each product page lists the specification, and our team will advise on playground surfacing during a free site survey.
